The Mercy Associates are lay women and men whose lives are inspired by the Mercy charisma as expressed by Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy. Our main purpose is to : -

Some Frequently Asked Questions
Why an Association ?
Because today there is a great need to involve the laity as well as religious in all the works of Mercy. Lay people are the Church, present in the home, the school, the factory, the hospital, the supermarket and places of relaxation.
What is its Aim ?
To help its members become more Christlike through the practice of that Mercy which the world needs today more than ever before.
Who Can Become an Associate?
Any man or woman who has the desire to imitate the Mercy of God and to belong to a group of like-minded Christians.
What Does Membership Offer ?
a. The means of deepening the Associate's life of faith through praying together and joining at times with the Sisters in reciting the Prayer of the Church
b. The means of bearing witness to the Mercy of God in their lives.
c. The prayers and supportive help of their fellow Associates
